    Peter Gregg Cars

Probably one of the most overused terms. There have been a few undocumented cars that have come to market. Peter had many "personal" Porsches. There was a batch of 73 911S Coupes that were his version of the RS. I know of the silver car. I know of a white car with ST flares all around and I remember a light yellow car as well. I just bought the orange 72 that he owned. Does anyone have any information or photos of this batch of 911s that he built for himself or special customers? Thanks.

Central Ohio... where are you in Central Ohio? I am in Grandview/Upper Arlington area. would be great to meet more early 9 series owners out there.

the only person who i can think of that died in a plane crash in Ohio is Thurman Munson (catcher for the Yankees during the 70s). but thats north east ohio and not central ohio.. and def not a race car driver.

I'm afraid that was Al Holbert. Peter put a gun to his head,,,what a tragic end for both talented men.

    Hi Rennman,

If you don't want to keep it under wraps. Would you mind explaining the car being a 2.7 originally referance on the samba ad. Is this actually the case , or was it modified at Brumos ? If you don't want to get into it that's fine. I'm sure the story will be told eventually.

It was modified at Brumos as the 73s were. From what I understand Peter would order an S with sunroof, tinted glass, AC and electric windows. He would convert to 2.7RS, use some sort of flare and wider wheels and add a ducktail with the metal Porsche letters. His version of a comfort RS. I do not know how many were done.
