    Fs: Vintage map lights

    Two vintage Rallye, map lights, Each $125,00. The lense on the rectangular light is slightely distorted. Both are 18 inches long.3% more with Pay Pal. These are at least 20 + years old.

    The bottom light has been sold.

    mike, can you do a favor for me? can you take a pic of the bottom of the second light (the butlers)? I bought one recently and it does not have a ground wire. the base does act like a ground and it works as long as its attached to a ground.. but i need to put a ground wire on it. if you could take a pic to show how the ground wire is attached and where, that would be a huge help and i would be for ever grateful.

    btw, these are fantastic lights and as raj said in a previous post, its hard to find them with the clip. best of luck on the sale!

    Map Lights Wiring

    The ground wire is attached to a thin brass washer with a tab on it to solder the wire to. It then is put over the switch and when the switch is mounted in the base it is squeezed between the white switch and the housing and the housing is grounded. The switch breakes the hot red wire

    You have it. It has a clip, and I tested it and it actually works. Do you want to send a check or pay pal? Shipping in the U.S. is probably $6.00
