11-4-1982 in Las Vegas NV by original owner. Have binder of receipts from day one-- including window sticker, certificate of authenticity, and documentation of everything that has ever been done to this car. I have logged 40,000 miles on this car since I purchased it with 28,000 original miles, 12 years ago.
Only driven in fair weather, no snow.
Shiny original paint that looks like it did the day it left the factory. Minor chips on hood & lower valance as one would expect. R/F fender got very minor dent & scratch from bicycle falling against it a year ago. Repaired & repainted fender. Perfect match, looks factory. Dave Dimara in Denver, CO did repairs. Dave has restored numerous early 911's, 356 & RSK models. Have all documentation, including "before photo" Was $1350 repair. All other panels on car are completely original. No rust, dents, scratches or blemishes.
Original carpet, upholstrey & period optional Lloyd floor mats that look new !
Trunk carpet is all original & looks new.
Original owners/warranty manuals, tool kit & space saver spare (never used)
Everything works on the car as designed.
This car drives & feels like a new car. Engine runs flawlessly , 915 transmission shifts like butter, no rough shifting thru the gears that is often complained about. Smooth clutch pedal feel. Car has been maintained exceptionally and is ready to drive across the country today with no issues. Below are the modifications I have done to the car.
Lowered to Euro specs, newer Bilstien Greens, turbo tie rod ends, bump steer kit. Aligned & corner balanced
Newer brake pads, braided brake lines w/ Super blue. Swepco 201 in transmission. Brad Penn 20/50W oil the last 3 years. No oil leaks !!!
Newer windshield & German seal
Harvey Weidman 7's & 9's Fuchs. Polished lip w/ black centers
4 new tires 2000 mi ago. 205/55/16 Front 245/45/16 Rears
Recent (May 2008) minor oil leak repairs and new engine sound pad
SSI heat exchangers with Monty dual in / 1 out stainless steel exhaust. Sounds just right & gives car more HP/torque
Restored Targa Top by Dan Petchel of Cars, Inc
Mocal 19 row oil cooler, replacing factory trombone Pelican oil cooler scoop. Runs cool.
Rod Birch Car audio innovations stereo system w/ sub-wooofer encloser Google it. Rod designed these enclosures specifically for 911 models. Clean, sano install. Perfect for when your passenger wants good music. I listen to the engine !
Momo steering wheel w/ Porsche crest horn button
H4 headlamps with 80/100W bulbs & Marcus Sucro relay
Car is very well maintained, always stored in garage, needs nothing. My plan was to keep this car forever, but storage issues have limited me. Someone will get a great, bullet proof 911SC that will provide many years of enjoyment. If you are looking for an exceptional example of the marque, quite possibly the finest out there, ...you just found it ! There is no substitute.
I will regret selling this car.
