    This goes over the coupler at the back of the tunnel, right? Instead of the carpeted piece? If so, I'll take it. Paypal OK?

    thats correct but the real early cars used the carpeted piece and then this 1 was used-i dont know the cut-off date-check to make sure its correct for your car

    That cover with the slots was used to provide an air intake to the Webasco Gas Heater. up in the so called smuggler box.

    here you go Dan one in Germany, not as cheap as Paul's and does not have the mesh (no affiliation just one i saw the other day)

    But, not always hand in hand. My 70 has the same meshed grill with no cardboard and It doesn't have the heater. However if I remember right it did have a felt piece under it. I'll have to dig through my resto pictures.
