    Window fogging mystery

If I leave my dash vent open when parking my car in the heat, a thin translucent film of some kind of oily fog seems to evaporate out of the vents and settle on my windshield. Anyone experience anything like this? Super annoying...

what car? this is usually associated with water cooled cars with a slight leak in the heater core. The antifreeze coats the windows.

It could be interior off gassing or a cleaning product

It's actually emanating from your vinyl. The uv makes it leach that film. Hate to think of what it does to your lungs.
    Two ways to reduce it:
    sun visor
    Dash pad

Would love to know if there is a product available though...

Trust me, It's the vinyl jza.disconnect your heater and leave your car in the sun for a day.
I would love to know if there is a product that prevents this from happening....
