    '67 original factory shipping cover?

looked at a '67 912 today. had a car cover that the owner thought was original to the car. no pics, but it was light grey-green with 6 ( I think ) black letters/numbers stenciled on the hood area. any thoughts? thanks, Don.

    Car cover

Does it have "front" stencilled on one end of the cover? Made of a thin flannel-like fabric? Thin elasticized edging at both ends? If so, then it's a car cover from the late 60s/early 70s. Nothing special but nicely tailored and custom fit. I had one of these on a 73S I owned, and another on one of my Karmann Ghias (it came with the car).
