Nope,,,,she was at Parade, showed it in Preparation at the concour, second I believe. Got a bad knee but otherwise is doing just fine.

Hello everyone,

I am still around and my adventure with the little brown car continues. I had some problems with social media and choose to limit my online exposure.

Driving the 911 continues to be one of my favorite things to do. It was driven to the Poconos Parade and much to my surprise won second place in Early 911s, Preparation, Street. The car is so much fun to share but I am tired of cleaning an undercarriage. The first place winner had 139.6, I followed with 139.3. It was a wonderful surprise.

After the judging was complete, the man next door said, "When you drove in, the car was in rough shape. I never thought you would get it clean." I smiled, "Thanks for the windows." The windows were badly smeared and we were just pushing product around. He took pity on us, and had a magic cleaner, long arms, and did the windows. The windows had a perfect score.

I was traveling with my car buddy, Dan. A lifetime passion of his is following Medal of Honor winners. US 20 in Ohio is a Medal of Honor Highway. We drove home that way stopping at cemeteries in small towns being careful of speed traps. As we were leaving Clyde, a police officer was watching but I was okay. We picked up speed and were tooting along 20. I looked up to flashing lights. Damn! Pulled onto the next farm road and took out my driver's license. He walked up. "No, no, no, you're fine. I want to see the car! You never see a car like this on the road." (The car was filthy and stuffed.) Of course, he was a Porsche owner. We chatted and took pictures. Then, we drove up to the farmhouse to turn around. Of course, the farmer came out to see the car.

Most people are surprised that I drive the 911. "Aren't you afraid something will happen?" ''Never. I have good insurance, keep the car in tip-top condition, and plan the routes carefully."

The 911 is just too good to sit,

By the way, one judge wrote on the score sheet that I had the wrong windshield wiper blades. I never changed them. The blades are the wrong profile. Nobody, anywhere, caught it.
