WTB - 4 Spoke Factory Wheel in Poor Condition

One like this, but in need of complete restoration as I want to customize. I do not need a center hockey puck or batwing. Thanks, John

I've got a beat up 400mm I'd let go for CHEAP. you're probably looking for something smaller, eh?

Well, the one in the photo is mine and is 380. I want a 350. To the best of my knowledge, they never came in 350....so I want to take a donor and cut out the 4 spokes and hub and weld to a 350 ring and then recover in extra thick leather or alcatera. That's my plan anyway. I think I should probably start with a 380 to be safe. Mine is too nice to monkey around with and is why I am looking for another suitable donor. Thanks, John

Why 380? If you're cutting it anyway there are lots of cheap beater 400mm wheels out there. I'll send you one free, you pay postage with the proviso you post the process. Would really like to see the results, sounds like a project that would be of interest to plenty of us.

Thanks! That's a great offer and I will gladly accept. I have never studied a 380 and 400 side by side to see if they are identical except for the length of the spokes to reach the larger diameter wheel. The correct dish and angles are of course an important part of my plan. Shoot me an email at jmweboffset@mac.com and we can work out the details. Thanks, John
