3.0L is on its way for my RS-look, so I'm selling this engine I bought as a temporary while I rebuild my 2.4L. Sold as a longblock, no fan/alternator/exhaust, though does come with Bosch distributor. May come with exhaust if I can get the exhaust from the 3.0 to fit my car. No smoke, runs very well. #s: 901/66 7377, 911224. Aluminum case.
According to the shop I bought it from (Hunter Motorsports in Mississauga, near Toronto), it was rebuilt approximately 50k km ago to E-specs (cams and pistons), but there's no documentation, unfortunately. Estimated 135-140 hp. I bought it from a local shop as a replacement for my 2.4 while I rebuild my original 2.4, which is taking WAY longer than expected.
Compression/leakdown #s weren't perfect, but decent - 150's/160s and 17% across the board. You can call the shop to confirm: www.zorotech.ca. Engine is still in my car, for anyone local who wants to see/hear/feel it. I'll be removing it from my car as soon as the 3.0L gets here, towards the end of the month.
