    1970 T 9110100430 Golden Green #6828 Restoration. Rare color

After selling my 1970 S #00093 to Alan at Canford, I had sellers remorse. I love 1970 non sunroof 911's and wanted a rare color. I will take the car down completely and then paint it Original Golden Green. COA says.. Paint to Sample 98. Door tag says 6828. I believe that someone blew this motor in 1973 as that is the last year this car was registered. It appears to have sat in a barn for many years. Rust in unusual places, but none where I expected it. S options, All will be addressed. I plan a keep that factory fenders, use Deep sixes and go with a 2.5 liter twin plug motor. Here are a few pics. I will post more detailed pix asap. How many Golden Green Porsches where there? Thanks, Tate

That was a bit of an unusual color back in the 68-69 period when it was regularly available. In later years it would be most unusual.
The calipers look to be in good shape for their age.

I think I recall seeing this car on Ebay about a month back. I remember the interesting color and briefly considered bidding on it. If I drug another car home, my wife would absolutely kill me, though. I'm glad to see someone who likes Golden Green is going to restore that color. She'll be a beauty. Good luck on the restore.

Great color, Golden Green! Did someone paint it with Autozone undercoating? Yikes!

Love that color! My 912 was / should be 6606 Irish Green, but I am tempted by several other Porsche greens and
    PORSCHE 6828 GOLDGRUEN 1967-1968
    is one of them.
