    No sign of any of the numbers either
    when it was for sale in 2011 (at European Collectibles and then Russo and Steele Monterey) it was disclosed that the engine number was "correct but the present owner, an authority on this model, believes it was re-stamped"

    Regarding the VIN stamp on A pillar.
    The cali hwy patrol riveted a tag on my father’s coupe, that he bought new, that my brother now owns.

    Weird things happen in 50 yrs.
    It’s not always an owner or seller, trying to pull a fast one.
