    Oil pressure sender

I suspect my oil pressure sender is leaking (well now it's broken after trying to tighten it). Is there a preference to the VDO or the aftermarket versions of the senders.

    Thanks

The sender should have 0-10 bar marked on the hex if it is for an early car. Aftermarket will have a pipe thread and dealer one will have proper straight 10x1.0 machine thread. gled
