    1969 911E Soft Window Targa w/ 2.4 911S MFI

    Outstanding US model 1969 911E soft window Targa, VIN 119210411 with '72 911S engine with mechanical fuel injection. Engine # 6322429. Original 2.0 liter engine is not available.

    Full, cost no option, rotisserie bare metal body restoration to show standards including fully detailed undercarriage and suspension by Series 900 Coachworks. Color was changed from burgundy to tangerine and car was upgraded mechanically including replacing the front hydropneumatic suspension with period correct 911S struts and aluminum brake calipers.

    The 2.4 S engine was completely rebuilt by Buckley Racing in Fort Worth, TX and has less than ten hours on it. Injection pump and thermostat were rebuilt by Pacific Fuel Injection. Includes SSI heat exchangers and factory Leistritz muffler.

    Reproduction Recaro sport seats in excellent condition, rear seat delete and MOMO Prototipo steering wheel. Targa top, rear window and half tonneau are in excellent condition.

    Asking $49,500 or make offer. Car is at our shop in Euless, TX and available for inspection and test drives.

    If the engine is from a '72 2.4 911S, why does if have the '70-'71 air filter arrangement?

    Looks like a nice car. I saw this car at Rennsport 1 in the Brumos paddock. Mr. Snodgrass really loved it and told the owner not to sell it, said it was a keeper. He gave the owner a Tangerine Brumos hat and asked him to leave it parked there amoung his Brumos cars. Kind of high praise from a guy who knows Porsche cars.

    Good luck with the sale. Hard not to love a Tangerine Soft Window Targa!
