Need advice on an exhaust M&K .

    Hi all,

I bought my 911 (2.2T 70') 1 year ago with a ugly ansa exhaust I'd like to replace. I found M&K exhaust but didn't found any feedback picture or sound that would help me to "add to cart". would be great if someone could help me on these point.

here is the one I'd choose http://www.mkexhaust.com/products/911s.html

    thank you

I have that same muffler but with bigger tail pipes. I have purchased many M&K mufflers over the years and have been entirely satisfied. The owner, Ben, is very easy to deal with. You should call him. Do a search on youtube since there are many M&K videos.

here are a couple of videos of my '72 911T, with a CIS 3.0L motor, SSI's and an M&K 911R muffler, rev1, so a little louder and with more drone than the later versions

The mufflers are works of art as far as construction. They add noticeable power at upper RPMs. They are loud in my opinion, but keep in mind that is subjective. Search on Pelican, there is always some dudes selling them there because their wife didn't like it.

to me, one of the key attributes is their light-ness, losing even a few pounds that far back on the car has to help....

I agree with all of the above. I have a one-out version, and boy, am I glad it's not two-out! It's not stealthy when I'm on the throttle. Sounds great, though.

what he said. I also have the one-out. fairly acceptable. I dislike the seemingly un-avoidable two-out drone. they are light.
