I found this Chick Iverson plate frame way out in the desert past Wickenburg in Arizona. An old VW bug made it around 10 miles down a wash then was abandon. The plate is stamped 63. The bug looked very early 60's.
Anyway, the frame is a little bent but can easily be straight again. It has both the VW logo and Porsche logo. If anyone wants it to put on their old VW or Porsche then please email me. I'll send it out for the price of a ups from Az to CA (or anywhere else).

I would like this plate frame please.

Chick Iversons - be still my beating heart. I was in Newport in the 60's and I spent time at his shop. I was driving a hot rod '56 Chevy but I LOVED Porsches. I tried to save but never made it. I remember my mother saying that Porsches were just so expensive, that I should get a Karmann Ghia because they looked about the same. God bless her. I ended buying a VW which was totaled on the way back from surfing at San Onofre. Great memories.
Apropos of nothing... I'm not positive, but wasn't his dealership located close to the police station?
Cheers,
John

Please put me in line for the frame. My 65 was imported into the US in 1968 and sold through Chick Iverson.
Thanks, John
