    What kind of CAMSHAFT is this???

    Hello,
    What kind of CAMSHAFT is this please??? Can't find it in Waynes book.
    901.105.109.0R
    AF 2
    12.12.67

    It came out of a 901/03 engine magnesium case which has aluminium cylinders and S pistons....

    Could be a factory option 911R part as indicated by this thread:

    Apparently it was also part of the 2.0S "Competition Kit" (901.100.907.00) and the "Rally Kit Option 9552".

    That cam has the stamping of a 911L cam. Same grind as the E without the MFI drive

    Stamping on the threaded end is:
    05

    In the middle is:
    901.105.109.0R

    More to the right:
    AF 2

    Other side in the middle:
    12.12.67

    I believe the "05" refers to the last two digits in the part number. These are different than the casting number which is cast into the body of the cam. The "05" refers to the L cams which have the same grind as E cams (without the MFI pump drive).
