FS - a pair of 70's Recaro adjustable fiberglass bucket seats

well, gotta pay for the new/old car so here goes.......................

for sale, a pair of original Recaro buckets. from what I can tell these are the same style shell as used for the RS/RSR with different adjusters and fitted upholstery instead of a fabric snap-on cover. ( SSSP feel free to chime in ) very nice shape. vinyl basketweave and pebbled vinyl bolsters. one 1/4 inch nick and a couple of paint marks I haven't tried to remove, the foam in one seat bottom needs replacement. mounting threads in bottom are good. nice peanut headrests. seem to be the 'widebody' version. at 5'10" and 220-ish one fits me very nicely, the other a little more snug but not uncomfortably so.
$2800 plus $100 to help with shipping. money order or paypal plus fees. thanks, Don.

Tempting, but too new for my Project.
Are the headrest pillars 200 or 240 mm apart?
Here the original ad for this seat.
[edit] perhaps you should add a blondie to the seats.[/edit]

I'll bet she's not 5'10 220ish... I have the fixed version of these seats, and they are very nice for an early car. Comfy for the long haul and they hold yer butt in place.

    Hi there,
in the folder is no printdate, but it shows a 911 G and the Idealsitz LS still has the odd looking front. So I assume it will be 74.
