Interior Question : Qtr Window Frame Seal to Body ?

I did a research towards this topic but find nothing : Is there any Seal or gasket (LH/RH) between the "C" Pillar and the little "Triangle" that attaches with 3 Screws the Frame to the Body on the Side of the Hinge ?. I noticed that some cars have them and some don`t . Which are the dimensions, thickness and function of this part ? . I Could not find it in any: Porsche , Stoddard nor Pelican Part Catalogue or Exploded views.

There is a plastic spacer about 1/8th" thick that is sometimes used between the qtr. window latch and the C pillar. They are used to help the qyt. window latch go "over center" if needed. At least that is when I use them.

Is this the spacer in question?

This is a photo of the hinge on my 68 with the plastic spacer underneath it just before I took it off. If that's what you're looking for, I have that part in a plastic baggie. I can photograph it and give you dimensions.

You can still get them new from Porsche, or at least I did about a year ago, don't have PET in front of me for a part number sorry, but if you need it I can check.

As Ed said it helps the latch go over center, with new rubbers fitted they can be hard to latch, but I can imagine once the rubbers settle down you'll need the spacer to achieve a water tight window.
