Mark, I was too busy making new friends at the track

But the whole weekend was such a sensory overload I could have walked right into you and not known who you were...

Bill, RSVP for lunch - YES for next week. Thanks

    Porsche Mille Info...

The Mille website has been updated with a lot more detail so it is easier to visualize the event now.

No affiliation, just sharing the info

Sorry I missed you guys this morning. Got halfway and brakes started to seize on. Cue smoke and inevitable tow-truck (I won't post the sad pic). Car's been sitting a while before and during the transatlantic shipping so could be a number of things - out with the wrenches this afternoon.

Be sure to see you at the next lunch/C&O

    Cheers

Neil - look forward to meeting you and that beautiful car. Sorry we missed you today, the turnout was slighly crummy and it was windy/cold. As a fellow '68 912 driver, I am curious to see that motor in yours.

    see you soon

Back on the road this morning (new rotors, pads and bleed cured the brake problem). Big smiles. Going to be up at Franz Blam's open day on Friday Jan 20. Anyone else going up?

    Cheers

    Guys,
We have a lot of fun in local events. You just need to join us.

Just last weekend, we had a few early Porsche cars:

And the week before, we had this:

Congratulations to Bryce for his 1969 911S in the current issue of the E911S "Esses" magazine. You did a great job with the article and pictures.

The car show "thing" is the first Sunday every month. It's a fun event, and it's free.

The big event this spring is the Walter Mitty Challenge (April 26-29) at Road Atlanta. It's also going to be a fun event. The Mitty always has some very fast early 911's.

    Standing events on calendar...

Thanks for the compliment on the article Doc!

For anyone just tuning in - highlighting an earlier post on what happens on a regular basis in the Georgia region:

    - Lunch on the third Wednesday of every month (~11:30). The current location is Food 101 on Roswell RD (just south of I-285). Everyone is invited.

    - Caffeine and Octane on the first Sunday every month.

    - Christmas party (lunch) every year.

    Franz Blam Racing Open House

I have heard this is scheduled for Friday, Jan 20th. It's after hours, 5:30 to 8:00.

    Everyone should come meet Franz...

Barring some surprise poroblem, I plan on being at Franz's. I wish it was not on a Friday night and not so far around I285 - getting there could suck.
