John, I know Stoddard has the plastic sliders, and I'm sure also the plastic collar.

John, could you provide a picture of the small part inside the window crank??

My friend
The part I am looking for is nr. 6 in the picture. It’s a stiff plastic part, like a drum with a to wide lid. I can provide a picture but then I would have to dissemble a lot of the opposite door....

No need to pull the other door apart.
IŽll send you a pic so you can verify they are most probably wrong.

i think the part you are referring to is called a "rosette." they are listed as part #901 552 891 20 on the stoddard website and they cost $5. didn't check pelican.
dC Automotive also has it listed!

Putting in some door panels, this thread prompted me to get some from Stoddard as well. So...thank you John!
For what it's worth, Stoddard is a great resource, and my personal "go to" supplier on all of my projects. If you guys ever want a part, my main man is Paul Domitrovic. He owns several classic Porsches, personally, and he knows the manufacturers and other resources, if they don't have what you're looking for. Don't get me wrong, I like Pelican, too, but on several occasions, Paul was able to explain subtle differences (like differences in the yellow/amber color of 911 turn signal lenses) to steer me to the best alternative.
