FS: 1982 3.0 longblock core engine

For sale - 1982 3.0 longblock core engine. Fan shroud, distributor, coil, oil cooler, flywheel, and heat exchangers are also included. The price is $3k picked up near Richmond, VA. Local buyer is preferred but shipping on a pallet is an option using Forward Air.

Engine was rebuilt in 1996 by Werkstatt Unlimited in Falls Church, VA. Rebuild cost was ~$5500 which included new 3.2 tensioners, engine gasket set, new rod bearings/bolts/nuts, new head studs, (2) new exhaust valves, used set of P&Cs, new valve guides, and more. I have a copy of the detailed invoice available in pdf format that I can email to anyone interested in the engine.

Mileage estimate is 160k miles total, 60k on the rebuild. It is believed cylinder #6 ring is bad. Cylinder #4 also showing low compression and high leakdown. #4 may just be from sitting and not being driven frequently.

Engines spins free and ran seemingly good. When I pulled my 3.2 to install the 3.6 my buddy (who owns this 3.0) purchased my 3.2 and pulled this 3.0. Did not leak oil when driven and parked.
