    Motorola/Bosch VR compatibility for 1971 911T

The OEM Motorola voltage regulator for my '71 911T is defective. The 55-amp SEV Motorola alternator has been removed from fan housing and tested. It is in excellent working condition. Is there an voltage regulator, which is not NLA, I can replace it with that fits without wiring modifications? I am assuming I cannot use the readily available Bosch voltage regulator for 55-amp alternator as a replacement. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

I have the solid state one that Zims and others sell in both my Motorola cars. They work great. I did have to adapt the wiring a little.
