WTB: Aluminum engine lid, Aluminum license panel

I would love to find an Aluminum engine lid and an Aluminum license panel, will go onto 69T. Would like to find them in the best condition possible, do not care about color of paint or quality of paint, they will be repainted. Rick, thanks, good point, I would very much like oem.
    Thanks

    Aluminum Lid

    Hey, Spence . . .

You didn't mention whether you wanted OEM or not, so . . .

    TRE sells a replica lid . . .

    http://www.tremotorsports.com/product.cfm?Node=10847

    $1950

For OEM, you might try pinging Elevenparts . . .

    http://www.elevenparts.com/index2.php?f=home

    . . . Edmond Harris . . .

    http://www.edmondharris.com/

    . . . or Historika . . .

    http://www.historika.com/porsche-par...bodywork/8.htm

(they're advertising an original alu license panel and . . . an original R lid)

    HTH

    Rick

PS Been there, Buddy. Good luck.

TRE has a excellent replica of the lid. Stoddard sells the Aluminum rear panel for about $80?? but its not as high quality at TRE's lid. Pics of my car for reference.

pms replied, thanks. And thanks for the photos Rob, looks great! I think since number one I'd like to save a little weight, I will pickup one from TRE. But, I am still looking for an original as well if anybody has one to part with. Great sites Rick, for whatever reason I have not gone on them before, woohoo, more places to search for fun stuff
