Is it the cars, the people, or the clothes they wear?... can't quite pin it down.

What, no creepy 'stuffed kids' pics? It's not a 'real CAR show' without them.

Nice that they still have an interest and can get out. I assume they are just released for the afternoon and have to be locked up again after 5?

I do like that Terraplane with the pull out bed.

They don't need them. The real people are creepy enough

Yup. I was going to ID them but they're in the witness protection program and I just didn't have the heart.

Mark, was there an entry rule at this show that you had to be an original owner to enter? Ages seem to match the cars.

I love it all- the old koots sitting by their cars, the incredible modifications ...a Cat diesel in a Firebird(?) Truly America.

Thanks for these. A good reminder of how we in the Porsche world are people get to live in rarified air and are very lucky!

Quick story-My first "Porsche" was a 71 914-4. Drove it across the country soon after buying it. When I'd stop for gas many a filling station "attendant" would get stopped in their tracks. Couldn't believe you'd put gas in by opening the trunk, that there wasn't an engine in the front or the back! IN THE MIDDLE. Space age they'd say.
