    CSRG Charity Challenge

This past weekend, the CSRG Charity Challenge 2011 was held at Infineon / Sears Point Raceway. As is always the case with any event involving the Classic Sports Racing Group it was a top-drawer occasion with great people and great cars.

Porsches were thin on the ground due to owners practicing a little caution, what with Rennsport just around the corner, but there certainly was no shortage of interesting cars.

    2. An exceedingly rare & historic Ferrari 500 Mondial, 4-cylinder sports racer which actually competed in the '54 Mille Miglia.

    3. The Can-Am contingent was out in force.

    4. I've noticed that the rear-engined, air-cooled cars frequently experiment with highly unorthodox lines.

    5. Some ferocious racing took place in the combined Formula 1 and Formula 5000 classes.

    John,

Did you see in the Jeff's documentation that the Ferrari has been used for Ice Racing in Sweden for a number of witers by a previous owner? I wonder how many Ferraris can claim that distinction!
