Gotta agree about that one. Many (too many...) years ago we did a private tasting on the beautiful terrace. Then the nice people called in a dinner reservation at a new restaurant down the hill... It's still magical... http://www.terrarestaurant.com/

    Curmudgeon's Viewpoint - CA 49 -

Grass Valley, Quincy, Tahoe, Gold country, Georgetown, Sutter Creek, Fiddletown, Mokelumme Hill, San Andreas, Angels Camp Sonora, Yosemite.

Cities are dirty, noisy, and not car friendly (and Europe already has them).

Like I said...it depends on what you want to do while you're here... If you want to drive great roads...there's a lot. If you want to go to great restaurants... got a lot of those. If you want to see museums of cars, or of fine art...we got both.
If you're here for two weeks, and only see No-Cal...you'd enjoy it....but if you've never been to So-Cal and seen what's in the south, then you haven't fully experienced California.... Like I said...we have whatever you want to see... You can even spend a day at the Streets of Willow, as I think PCA has a "day away from work" track day on the 17th....
If it was me....I'd start at RRIV, and when that ended, spend a few days in the bay area...and then work my way south.... Santa Barbara.... Hollywood.... Petersen Automotive Museum...Ghetty Museum.... Laguna Beach.... Cars & Coffee Irvine....down to San Diego...etc... Could be a blast!

Has anybody seen Andy? He was going to stop by this week and I haven't seen him since RRIV.

Yeah, Harvey. He stopped in yesterday, but I didn't have much time to chat as I was in the middle of a brake job and service on a pair of 996s.

We did get a cup of coffee, though (gnat's pi$$, as Andy would describe it ).

He said he'd be making his way back up towards you next week, probably.
