    Question about RS color codes in Konradsheim's "Carrera RS" book

    Hey, sometimes my memory plays some really sad tricks on me...

    I was just looking for some other stuff on Konradsheim's "Carrera RS" book charts (almost at the end of the book) and I suddenly didn't remember how to decode those 6 digit numbers... Both color codes and paint codes appear on page 122.
    So what do those 6 digit numbers stand for, under "color", on the charts page 245?

    the first 4 numbers are the exterior colour as seen on page 122 - ie black is 1010. they are standard colour numbers for all cars that year.
    the next 2 numbers are the interior code for upholstry, again standard codes. you will find them on page 131
    ie 12 is black leatherette with corduroy middle stripe in the seats
    so a black car with that interior would be coded 101012
