Hey Freddy, you can get the porsche script from Bob Tilton and I'm pretty sure I heard that the 911R script was amazingly still available from Porsche

The engine lids on 911Rs have interested me for some time.

Most 911Rs seem to have the later engine lid without the central bar which is unusual for a 67/68 car.

I thought that the engine lid with the central bar was fitted to all SWB cars and wasn't changed until the B Programme cars.

There is a photograph showing the first 911R with the standard engine grille rather than the expanded mesh.

The Larousse Tour de France car (1969?) had a mesh grille and a later engine lid and I wondered if this had been copied and now become 'correct'

There is a UK company called Historika that offer a 'reproduction' 911R Engine Lid which is said to be correct and this has the central bar which would mean that the mesh style of grille wouldn't fit.

Does anyone know the whole story?
