    1969 seat belts

Just acquired a 1969 911 with the old style seat belts that don't retract. Does anyone have a quick solution for adjusting belt length under the cover? My belts seem almost frozen under the covers. Thanks for any help/ideas.

Remove the plastic covers, use WD-40 or similar, rock the webbing back and forward until they come loose. Probably some rust on the chrome. Clean up afterwards...

    Good luck, Cees

    4. buy new seat belts that might actually be useful if seat belts are ever actually needed.
