FS: Small Fan and Housing....Special RSR Finish.

I have for sale a 225mm fan and small fan housing, re-finished to replicate the wax protected coating seen on race fans back in the day. It's been achieved by a specialist custom paint company who have managed to get the translucent look really well. The fan centre piece has been freshly yellow zinc passivated. There is a corner chipped on one vane.

The housing was stripped and then chromated to the factory dark grey finish, I've just coated the rim and internal wall's with black wax to show a black finish or that will wipe off with white spirit for an overall grey look. I've left the coil studs in case they are needed. The housing fits the standard shroud and has the deeper mount ring for the larger output alternaters.

Really pleased with the way it's turned out, I hope you like it. Price is $1200 + shipping

thanks Rob, and thank you Mark for posting the picture of the R fan.

From that pic you can see how the original small fan housings have a smaller diameter at the back than the front which necessitates having a different style of small shroud to fit.
My version of the housing although small to accommodate the 225mm fan has the standard diameter at the back so fits a standard shroud.

And I also sell a new Amber RSR style shrouding that will fit this stock size fan ring. If one wanted the complete look.
