    Is this normal?

I'm in the process of installing a Target short shift kit and noticed this sticker on the shifter base plate. Is this normal? or was this replaced at some point?

    Thanks!

It's been replaced, the original would not have had a sticker.

    Humm interesting. I wonder why.
I'll keep the sticker there since it's original.

    Thanks!

Somewhere I read a thread about the Porsche parts stickers. I believe this sticker is from the 70s / early 80s

The 901 towers are notorious for breaking at the spot welds.

Probably replaced because the original was afflicted.
