    Seeking Recommendations In Atlanta

I need a recommendation for a shop in or around the Atlanta area that specializes in air-cooled 911s ... in particular a shop that is not afraid to work on Turbos.

My friend's father's car has had some trouble with what has been described to me as an "unscrupulous shop"; I'm trying to provide them with quality, trustworthy alternative shops that might be able to help them with their current situation. I don't know anyone in the Atlanta, GA area so I'm coming to the Georgia Regional Forum for help.

Where do you guys take your cars?

Please feel free to post here or send me a PM, but any and all help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

For general maintenance I use AutoEurope; quite skilled with Porsche and BMW and they've been doing it for years. For Porsche service there, contact Martin (pronounced Mar-teen) Altolaguirre (don't ask me how to pronounce that, I've always just called him Marteen. They are the "intown" shop to use for sure. 404-875-0552

Martin at Auto Europe and Fraz Blam at FBRacing. I would start with Franz due to his vast racing experience, nothing he can't fix.

Pat Collins in Norcross. Trained by a factory mechanic where he was young and been working on air-cooled Porsches his whole career. Amazing mechanic and great guy. 770-448-3338
