    Carrera 2.7 RSH . . . (!!!) . . .

    . . . at CarClassic . . .

    http://www.carclassic.com/Porsche_91...body_EG28.html

Don't have Dr K's book handy but, as I can recall, only a handful of the original full homologation versions were ever delivered that way --- just as they were inspected by FIA, and, I assume, most of those were duly converted into race cars.

    Shiver me timbers.

No VIN, dollars or decent photos . . . but --- if I was any where near . . .

    Classic Car Collection
    6 rue du Conseil Général
    1205 Geneve
    Switzerland

. . . I might fill in some of the relevant details/take some better photos.

    (not mine) . . . . (but it should be . . .)

Not only the worst clipping of a photo but a terrible description of the car.
the original post assumes (probably because it is described in the title in the advertisement as RSH) that it is an RSH. The title also says one of first 50 cars. There was only one RSH in the first 50 (apart from R1 and R2 competition RSR's) and it was RS0016 white and blue and currently in USA not Italy.

A closer look at the Ad suggests it is a M472 as it says "911 RSH 2.7 Touring"

still probably a very desirable car...........but not an RSH

IF it has been restored to its original colors and IF it is one of the first 50, ie up to chassis number 60, and IF it is a M472 it can only be one of 4 cars - and some of those can be ruled out

0017 - no is in USA and was at RRIV
0037 - possibly but has been in France and last known sale in 2007 was white and blue with a half cage
    0053
    0054
and maybe 0063 but by that time it is out of first 50

Most likely it's 0046, which has been for sale in Parma for some time. I thought it was sold last year, but apparently it was not.

    I think you are correct.
My records have it as being for sale at various places in Italy and elsewhere since 2008.
In august 2008 for sale at F A Automobile as" only 3 owners from new" and "never restored" matching numbers (but the matching number engine was just a case as the actual engine was 6340995)
    In may 2009 at
    AUTOBASE S.r.L. Italy
In February 2010 as "restored in 2008 as lightweight" at carclassic.com
in June 2010 at carclassic.com so unless the listing is an old one that is where it is still

Yes, it is 0046. A Touring, very early but not "RSH". Just restored. According to K book should have blue trim, not red and of course seats are wrong. Asking price 260k Euro.
