    Hi.
I want to replace the old dash vinyl for a new one black basketweave and for so I need to remove the headlight switch in my 1970 T Targa
How can I remove the light switch? Tried do turn it conterclockwise but I was afraid of broken it.

Jose`, the switch knob is secured with a 3mm or 4mm grub screw, on the underside of the knob, which prevents it from unscrewing when the dash lighting brightness is being adjusted. This grub screw must be loosened with a small plain screwdriver, before removing the knob.
As a coincidence, we also have a `Targa` but it is a 1969 `S`. Best wishes, Paul Martin.

As for the hazard switch, it's only pull both ends and it will separate, right?

Are you sure about it? I couldn't unscrew it... Should I unscrew the red button or the bezel around it?
I had no problem with the light switch.

    Thank you!

On a 73 you unplug the hazard switch from the rear and then carefully push out, it is held in by pressure clips. I don't know if it is the same on a 70.
