    Original Owner & Dealer

    I recently purchased a '71 Targa in Indiana and understand it is original to the Indianapolis Area. In my research I found that there was a VW/Porsche dealer in that area: Kline-Giganti (no longer there). How would I go about finding out if this is the dealer my car was delivered to and the original owners name. I do have a COA on the car and everything matches, however I would like to know this additional info on my car and previous owners. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

    I'll assume the original maintenance booklet is no longer in the glove box?

    Ha! Well, you might start by posting the VIN...some searching on various lists based on VIN may get a hit...
