    Price check-68 SWT

Need a feel for value of 68 SWT that is complete w numbers matching motor. It is missing many small and costly bits and pieces. The motor will need a rebuild as well as most of the car. Was converted to glass some time ago, comes with parts to return to soft. Has the usual rust issues with car of this age and type, being an open top. I'm thinking it is not worth much money or even the trouble it would take to restore, but? To be clear, I do not own this car. Thanks

Car is rough but salvageable. But worst part is all the small bits a missing so would cost a bunch to get it whole again. I thk he wants 3K but too high IMO.

for 3 k i would buy it too ,, just the softie parts are worth 2000$ , may be an early car , alu case , there goes and other 2000$, original windsheild !!! as long as i have a bill of sale i would go an run for it , run run run

if not i will take it and spend an other 1000$ to bring it back to canada!!!

I am just guessing at what I could by it for, seller is asking more, but IMO, I would not pay more than 3K, but what do I know. It is not a softie right now, it was converted some time ago, but seller claims to have the parts to convert back.

What are the things I should check for? Not talking about rust and rot, talking about alu case, .... specific to this year and model. Is it worth returning to soft window or leave alone?
