    Christophorus Value Question

    Literature folks,

What is the estimated value of a complete, mint, set of all six English edition 1956 Christophorus? 1956 was the first year of English language editions. This collection contains the 25th Porsche anniversary issue as well. They are contained in their 1956 binder, as shown.
    Thanks.

    -Allen-

    Allen,

Prices haven't been quite what they were a few years ago. The german issues are fetching quite a bit. The binders were sold separately, somebody probably just put the first issues in the binder for safe keeping.

Thomas will probably be able to put a better value on it than me.

My guess from the last year of transactions on Ebay in US and Europe would be $100 for the first issue, and then roughly $75 each for the next 5. Then maybe $40 to $50 for the binder. (so you did fine on your buy...)
