    help removing seats

I have a 73 911 that I need to remove the seats. Can you just slide them forward to get them off the track like a 356? Thanks in advance for the info. Tom

Yes, on the 73 there might be an electrical connector for the seat belts(?) my experience is with a 71. these are not tilt base sport seats I am presuming. S

They do not slide off the rails like a 356, you have to unbolt the sliders from the floor mounts by sliding the seat fore and aft to access the front and rear bolts. You then lift out the seats with the sliders on them.

And you need a 17mm open end to remove the outer seat belt bolt.
