    Storage in Portland, OR or Seattle, WA

    Hello
    Looking to securely store a car for the next 6 months and sample the NW scenery a few times. Does anyone know of anything?

    In Portland I'd give Jay Ivey a call. Great guy, well known race engine builder. If he doesn't have room I bet he could point you to someone who does.

    Larry,

    Yes, there's a guy in Seattle who has a great storage facility for us collectors who need security and access. He's well known to many of us up here, but the facility is very low profile and is actually the first floor of a new house he designed and built specifically for this purpose. He lives on the second floor. PM me if you want his contact info. I have a car in there right now. He also has a hoist in the facility and car wash facilities in the courtyard entryway.

    There's also a place in Seattle near Fisherman's Terminal. Not quite as low-key as what Eric describes, but the outside gives little clue to what's inside. Not sure about avialability or what their rules are about access. PM me and I'll get more info for you, if interested.
