So what is the best thing to do? Should I call up Gene and tell him that he left some money on the table or just wait until he makes a mistake again?
Or should I whine about an accessory that I would never use?

Put it on the car. Put a pair of Strato 102's on it and drive to the hill. Ski all day. Then drive home with your 102's securely fastened to your new rack.

It was "scored" by a member here. He contacted me about the rack, and we discussed it a bit. Very nice! Interesting brackets, I would say it appears to be made by Leitz. My thought is that it was a very very early rack that could fit the 911, could possibly be for a late 356?

I know that with the adjustments that are built in these racks will fit quite a few cars.
