    Barn find, 47 year slumber

47 years sitting on milk crates, a fun story.

This car was owned by Ted Ohland one of the founding members of the Metro NY Region of PCA. Ted remained active in the club until his recent passing.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

    Joe-
I wish I could have met him, I bet there were some good stories.

I am sure he would be proud of the Coupe being brought back to its former glory.

Yeah Ted was quite the character. A English school teacher by trade who would call you out on every grammar issue or punctuation error when you submitted an article to The Post our monthly publication which he was the editor of. He was also one of the all time Rally Masters proud of the fact that our Snowflake Rally held ever January predated the club. Some may say he was a crotchety old guy that you either loved or hated but regardless which camp you were in all would say he was devoted to the club and a true Porsche enthusiast.
