Photos were taken in LA in front of the LA Music Hall. If I remember correctly, Magnus posted some photos of his cars in front of a structure that looks very familiar to one of the backgrounds in the ebay ad. The seller is outside of Harrisburg, PA. Plus look at how nice that car is (restored) - for $8,500? Not bloody likely... Interesting ebay ID and zero feedback. Smells fishy to me.

I have a friend who is looking for a decent 912 and sent that link to me to see what I thought. I looked at the pics and thought he should get his butt over there and buy that car - now. Then I read the description and looked a little closer. Too good to be true...

I agree with your speculations and everything about this car raised red flag to me, but to call it "scam" w/o more info than presumpion is bit harsh. Dont you think ?

A bit harsh and with presumption? Yes, I suppose so - you're right. I do call 'em as I see 'em, tho. Corrections made.

OK let's call it... hhmmm... don't know... aahhh... well... what? A very suspect and unbelievable ebay ad that smells extremely fishy? To me that sure looks like the "s" word.

shady is absolutely appropriate here.....the seller has no feedback, the photos he uses sure do look familiar....

shady it is....please, folks, don't give this guy any money or any personal information until you see and touch the car....verify the title and do some searches on the vin he tells you....
