    MFI injector dimensions

I was wondering if someone could help me out with MFI injector dimensions. I have a project brewing and do not have an injector on the shelf to measure myself.

What is the thread diameter and pitch?
    What is the thread depth?
What is the diameter of the sealing washer?
how long is the "injector nozzle" section below the threads?
What is the diameter of the injector nozzle?
What is the length of the injector body above the threads?
    What is the overall length?
What is the thread diameter and pitch of the fuel line connection?

    Thanks,

    Jamie

Jamie - didn't know how accurate you wanted the measurements but here you go:

What is the thread diameter and pitch? M12 x 1.5
What is the thread depth? Approx 14mm
What is the diameter of the sealing washer? M15.5 x M12
how long is the "injector nozzle" section below the threads? Approx 14.5mm
What is the diameter of the injector nozzle? 9.65mm
What is the length of the injector body above the threads? Approx 27mm*
What is the overall length? 67.2mm
What is the thread diameter and pitch of the fuel line connection? M12 x 1.5

    * from the top of the threads to the top of the hexagonal portion

    Cheers Andy,

Exactly what I was looking for. No need for more resolution than you provided.

I assume you plan to modify something more common? I would assume pintle sizes and spring pressures are also going to be a factor but I haven't had any direct experience with the Porsche/Bosch MFI system but have had a bit to do with diesel systems and they look very similar so I suspect the principles are the same.

I will probably need some injectors in the future so if you come up with something interesting, I'm sure there would interest here.

    cheers
