1968 911 project with factory ST flares

Just found this car on craigslist. The guy I bought it from had to sell fast, got a great deal on it and scored some nice wheels. I'm selling it off to help fund my 911S project.

This is a big project needing a full restoration. This is not a T or S and no signs of race history, just a plain jane 911 with some very rare flares. The car has rust in the floor pan, rear seat pans and front suspension pan. The rockers, jack points, B pillars and package tray are solid....structurally the car looks to be in good shape. This is a fairly complete car and it looks to have the numbers matching aluminum 2.0 engine (numbers are within range) although I do not have a COA to confirm this. The engine does turn over but not sure what condition it is in. Probably the best thing about the car is the fact that it has factory steel ST flares, one front flare is dented but repairable. Most of you probably know that these are worth more than the car!

The major things that are missing are the fuel tank, door panels, head lights, distributor and bumpers. Also, the fuchs are not real. The chassis number is 11830189 and the engine number is 3280406, type 901/14. The car has a clean title and has been on a CA non-op for 15yrs. I have not transferred the title to my name yet but can do so if it is an issue. Asking $7k, feel free to call me at 510-455-1161

    Thanks,
    Craig

Still for sale. I may keep the car and sell just the flares for $5k obo. Someone must need these for an ST project?

More pics. Floor pans are pretty bad, front pan should be replaced. Rockers and jack points look pretty good.

Also, the hood is damaged. Would probably be more cost effective to replace it.
