    I am thankful for the great people that frequent this forum. Aside from the great advise, both pre- and post-purchase, the people here have been very welcoming to me, a Porsche newbie. NickP is a great example: at some point last year I was on the west coast for work and stopped by the Irvine Cars and Coffee. I was admiring Nick's beautiful silver S and starting chatting with him. Before I knew it we were off to tour all the other cars and meeting the owners. I went there not knowing a soul, and by the time I left, I spoke with (or at least was introduced to) most of the R-Gruppe and early S members - and their cars. Thanks Nick! I've had other equally positive experiences with people here which keeps me coming back. Thanks to everyone.
