WTS - 1968 Vintage PORSCHE Factory Delivery Bag

From information I have gathered on this site, this was a gift from the factory when the buyer picked up the car from the factory and was only offered in 1968. It originally came with a blanket in it, but when I recieved it it was full of 40 years of documentaiton on my car, the blanket is long gone. The bag is in very nice shape with no tears or loose threads, only a few smudges on the bottom. The zipper works as designed. The cardboard on the bottom in the inside is still stiff and in great shape. One of the buckles on the strap shows some corrosion - I tried to cature this in one of the pics.

I would like for this to go to someone here on the registry that would appreciate it for what it is, so am advertising it here first. I am attaching some pictures, but please let me know if you would like any additional photos taken. I have two independant data points that shows these bags are worth between $500 and $700 based on thier rarity - I am pricing this very nice example at the lower end at $500 OBO, shipping not included. Please respond with interest or questions to fsmartin one at bellsouth dot net.

    Thanks, Farrell

No takers yet, so bumping the ad and expanding advertising. Buy it now and hang it from the fireplace as one awesome stocking!

this is one of those unique items that really has to find the right buyer. does it come with blanket or any factory documents? I would imagine that would help the sale if it did.

also i think pelican parts has a classified section for porsche collectables. you might want to post it for sale there too.

    Hope this helps!
