    Targa California 2012

I was just curious who from the ErsteGruppe will be attending the Targa California in April. Also wondering what the shipping cost was for those of you who shared a trailer last year.

    Lee,
I have a car on the west coast so I am planning to attend. I believe Reza was also going to come down from Seattle. Rumor has Girt driving again. Last year, Lew and I shipped on open trailers for $900 per trip. Reza has a Russian hook-up that he has shared. It was a fun three day event.

I might go again but not shipping a car, perhaps driving down from SF.....

yes budget at least $1000 to get the car shipped each way, open carrier, there are a few friendly shops that can hold the car for you, it will probably need a good cleaning when it arrives, so schedule a detailer, too.

In my plans, just I am not certain yet.

Btw, if there would be 9 Porsches to ship ( both ways) for event , I could arrainge ,one of my, open deck car transporters to do the job .

I'm going to need shipping at least one way for the New England Mountain Rally ... perhaps, Gytis, you guys could all ship your cars out this way for Targa CA and then we could all ship them back together on one of your carriers for NEMR.
