    A big thanks to Marek

A couple of weeks ago Marek passed the tip on regarding the imminent arrival of new 85 L plastic gas tanks.
I contacted my spares guy and he confirmed the new part number - 911 201 010 12.
I checked again today with him,as my 4th gas tank since October 2003 has just shat itself and I am due to see my mechanic tomorrow.
New tanks now available and not stupid money,so I ordered mine this afternoon.
It should arrive mid next week and I anticipate no more gas tank problems for quite a while.
Check with your local spares guy as there were only 17 in Stuttgart as of three hours ago.
    Thanks again Marek !

    Cheers,
    Dennis.

... btw ... where are you Marek ?

He is always on the go and does not get to pick up email/view forums as much as he would like.

    Hope you are well Dennis?
