    Nothing a little spray foam and 2 layers of fiberglass on the underside can’t fix….yes, that the torsion bar mount

    Too familiar.

    When they were "used cars" folks did what they had to do.

    356's are probably some of the worst offenders I've ever come across. Old Corvettes can be very sketchy too. I always say: "Wait a year on new paint". The $hit usually hits the fan using that time frame.

    Conversations I've had regarding Corvette bodywork:

    "What's this?"
    "Oh, that's a bonding seam."
    "ACROSS THE FENDERS?!

    On another occasion:

    "Where are the bonding seams" (on a '66 Coupe I looked at for a friend)
    "We smoothed them out." (told with a straight face too!) LOL!!!
