Is there anything particularly interesting about this Flat 6 x 15?

    Date code 273

I have 472 with a backwards 5 next to it
    What looks like 1274
    A 1272 also

These are pretty straight, no curb damage, cosmetic condition pretty rough.

This isn't a for sale ad, I'm just wondering what they are from.

Wheeler dealer (been there done that!)

911.361.020.00 are "flat sixes" that use the three-prong caps. Date code of 2/73 would be near the end of the run for the three prong cap version per my memory (not worth a sh#$)...After that we had the .....10 version...these used the collar cap. Hope that helps. Thanks.

I have seen the (00) flat 6X15 dated from 1/71 to 7/73. The are different from the (10) at the cap hole (3 prong vs ring) and the inside taper for the hub centric mounting (along with a few other boring things). The (10) was introduced for the 74 MY for the new hubcentric fittment-hubs.
Many of the date stamps are sloppy and continued to be sloppy into the current production. They frequently take some investigation to find out their actual date, if at all. I have at least a dozen without dates at all and a few with two or even three dates.
